Emergency Services     

County emergency services are delivered from the Thorhild, Radway, Newbrook and 
Long Lake Fire Departments. These departments can all be accessed through 911, 
in case of an emergency.

Disaster Recovery Program 2018 Spring Flood 

Updated June 8, 2018, Thorhild County is waiting on confirmation of a meeting date.  

This Program provides assistance to residents, small business, and agriculture operations who incur uninsurable loss and damage as a result of a disastrous event.  A public meeting will be held once the Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AMEA) has finalized the details.  AMEA will be in attendance to provide information and assistance.
