"Fall" Photo Contest. Thank you to everyone who submitted their interesting photos. Link to submitted photos. The winners of the "Fall" photo contest are Carson Penchuk, Mary Petersen, Sarah Kassian, and Henry Schlogel. Carson and Mary's photos received a tie vote in the "People's Choice" award category. All of the winners receive a $100 gift certificate from a business of their choice that operates in the County. Winning Photos Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter amazing photos! "Summer" Photo Contest. Link to submitted photos. People's Choice Award: Two photos were in a virtual tie throughout the voting period. The two winners "People's Choice" photos are Krystal Croswell who submitted "Kapusta time at Nanna's" (photo #4), and Tracy Woloshyniak who submitted "Red barn @Alms place east of Newbrook" (photo #23). The Photo Selection Committee Awards winners are Henry Schlogel (photo #6 of a church ), Cindy Humm (photo #3 of a mule deer), and Graham Waterman (photo #18 or a sunrise). Thank you to everyone who submitted their wonderful photos!!
"Spring" Photo Contest. Twenty-two photos were submitted: Thank you for your submissions! Have a look at the fantastic photos! The winner of "The People's Choice" photo is Suzanne Turchanski (see photo #21). Suzanne took the photo of the 5 see-whet owls this past spring, just north of Half Moon Lake during bird banding. Three additional awards: The Photo Selection Committee consisted of Juanita Krause, Janelle Cornelius, and Colleen Waterman. The committee members were not advised of the names of the photographers prior to judging. The photos selected by the committee were taken by Devin Ewasiw (#7 ), Mary Petersen (#15) and Kevin Grumetza (#3). The four winners will each receive a gift certificate from the business of their choice that operates within the County. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who submitted their photos!
