The Library Board is a governing board with full management and control of the public libraries within Thorhild County.

Members are required for:

One (1) public member for Division 3.

One (1) public member for Division 4

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Cypress County has issued a water supply alert and boil water order for the hamlet of Walsh.

A water main break at a water plant in Walsh resulted in a disruption in water supply for customers in the area. Service is restored to all but four customers. This disruption is expected to last at least 72 hours. All customers in Walsh are under a boil water order. This will be the final update. Area: (This alert is for the hamlet of Walsh and surrounding area.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Cypress County has issued a water supply alert for the hamlet of Walsh.

A water main break at a water treatment plant in Walsh has resulted in a disruption in water supply for customers in the area. This disruption is expected to last at least 72 hours. Area: (Hamlet of Walsh and surrounding area.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. 511 Alberta has cancelled the hazardous road conditions alert.

Severe weather has improved and dangerous highway conditions are subsiding. Area: (This alert is in longer in effect for areas north and east of Calgary, as far north as Olds and as far east as Youngstown (see attached map).)
