Notice – Public Hearing
On proposed Bylaw 13-2023, which would amend Land Use Bylaw 1194-2015 in accordance with Section 676 (1) (a) and (b) of the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000 for a Change to the Environmental Reserve Use for Lot R (Community Reserve), Plan 2638MC, Hamlet of Radway for a purpose not specified in Section 671 (1) and transfer an Environmental Reserve to the Crown or an Agent of the Crown for consideration.
Thorhild County is giving consideration to a Land Use Bylaw Amendment. The Public Hearing will be held both in-person and via Zoom (audio only) on:
Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
Thorhild County Council Chambers (801 – 1st Street, Thorhild)
Important Information
- All speakers will be given a 10-minute time limit and are encouraged to provide a written copy of their submission in advance of the Public Hearing.
- If you intend on participating in person, you are encouraged to pre-register.
- If you wish to speak at the Public Hearing via zoom, you are asked to register by Friday, October 6, 2023. This is to ensure that zoom participants receive instructions to access the hearing.
- If you are unable to attend the Public Hearing, you may make a written submission. Your name, address, legal land location and the bylaw number must be included in your submission.

- The proposed Bylaw may be viewed at the County Office and is available on the Thorhild County Website: https://www.thorhildcounty.com/Government/Council/Council-Meetings.
