The Traffic Safety Act contains provisions that allow the County to enact bylaws regulating certain aspects of traffic operation and safety. Thorhild County has enacted the Traffic Safety Bylaw, which deals with aspects such as vehicle weight restrictions, parking, placement of signs and usage of the roads and sidewalks such as funeral processions or parades.
Thorhild County's Traffic Safety Plan identifies the County’s commitment towards safer roads and travel within the County.
