Open 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Closed for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Open from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

 

THORHILD COUNTY ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC WORKS BUILDINGS are Closed to the Public, however, services are continuing and staff are available to assist you through phone or email.  County payments can be made by; Internet banking, telephone banking, mail in payments and a drop box (at Thorhild County administrative office) is available.  Option pay is available for credit card payments.

The County’s services will continue to be maintained during this time.

The public must not travel on closed roads.  Anyone needing to travel must take exta time and caution due to numerous road closures.

Hamlet of Long Lake Block Water Wells Opening 

The Block Wells will be open from 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday, May 16th, 2020, to allow residents to turn on their water for the summer months.

If you are unavailable this day and require access to the block well, please call the office at (780) 398-2811 to set up an appointment. 

Appointments are to be scheduled from Monday to Friday between 8 am to 4:30 pm.

JUNE 10, 2020 - Thorhild County Council unanimously declared a State of Agricultural Disaster.  Council will be lobbying the Minister of Agriculture, Devin Dreeshen to establish a disaster recovery program for 2020.

Thorhild County Family Medical Clinic Remains Open to See Patients by Appointment.

If you have symptons such as a fever, cough and difficulty breathing and have travelled outside Canada

or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, stay home and call Health LInk 811.

Call 911 if you are seriously ill and need immediate medical attention and inform them that you may have COVDI-19.

If you have these symptons, please do not come into the clinic.

It is a busy time of year; gardens are being prepped, crops are being planted or harvested, and we still have Covid-19.  Make sure to take care of yourself - eating well, getting some exercise, and rest/ relaxation.  If you are struggling with things, please call the Nurse Practitioner to talk or to schedule an appointment.
