COVID-19 / Non-Profits and AGMs

“Temporary changes to several acts and regulations that fall under the oversight of Service Alberta are no longer in effect as of August 15th. Timelines or other obligations have returned to normal”.

In other words… AGMs are no longer delayed. Annual returns need to be completed. Please see these three resources for details.

Utility Payment Deferral Program Will End September 30, 2020

Bill 14 Utility Payment Deferral Program Act provided temporary financial relief due to COVID-19 pandemic.

September 30, 2020 – All outstanding amounts are due.

October 1, 2020 – Penalty will be applied to unpaid balances.

If you were in arrears before the deferral program started, any outstanding utility charges will still need to be repaid.

You must enter into a Utility Repayment Plan Agreement before September 30, 2020. If you enter into this repayment plan, you will have until June 18, 2021 to repay the entire outstanding amounts owing from the Utility Payment Deferral Program.  Contact Tara at (780) 398-2811 or email

Township Road 590 is closed to all traffic due to bridge replacement, it is expected to reopen by mid-October.

or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, stay home and call Health LInk 811.

Call 911 if you are seriously ill and need immediate medical attention and inform them that you may have COVDI-19.

If you have these symptons, please do not come into the clinic.

  • Remember hand hygiene to keep germs away and stay healthy.
  • Reminder to have your yearly check ups done before school start up!


It is a busy time of year; gardens are being prepped, crops are being planted or harvested, and we still have Covid-19.  Make sure to take care of yourself - eating well, getting some exercise, and rest/ relaxation.  If you are struggling with things, please call the Nurse Practitioner to talk or to schedule an appointment.


It’s that time of year to be out on ATVs, please keep in mind safety measures to enjoy your time in the outdoors with family and friends:

Wear the Gear: Jackets, helmets, goggles, gloves, boots, and long pants.

• Get trained from a trained instructor

• Buckle Up: Make sure your gear fits properly and is fastened securely

• Drive Sober: Do not use alcohol or drugs; pay attention; be in control
