County ID Cards

Thorhild County Identification Cards are required to access Thorhild and Long Lake Transfer Stations and Waste of Management Canada-Thorhild Landfill for all household waste. The current County ID Card is a 3-year term beginning January 1, 2024, expiring December 31, 2026. Cardholders must have their card scanned by transfer station attendants.

If you are a new landowner or tenant and require a County ID card, contact the main office 780-398-3741 and speak to reception to apply.

If your card has been lost or damaged, contact the main office to request for a replacement card. Replacement cards are subject to a $5 plus GST fee as per Policy 605. The cost of postage will apply should you require it to be mailed otherwise pickup is available.

A boil water advisory has been issued as a precaution. The precautionary Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until water quality testing confirms there is no contamination. Area: (This alert is in effect for areas within Penhold South of Minto Street.)
