Thorhild County has entered into a user agreement with TRAVIS MJ, whereby all over-dimensional and overweight loads will require permits.  Roadata is the service provider. 

 

Road Use Bylaw and Agreement 


Road Use Bylaw 17-2020 regulates road use within Thorhild County 24,000 kilograms (24 tonnes) in registered gross vehicle weight.

While operating within Thorhild County, Gravel Trucks shall adhere to the County's "Rules of Conduct".

Sand and Gravel Operators

Thorhild County has determined that it is in the best interest of the residents of Thorhild County that a Community Aggregate Payment (CAP) Levy Bylaw be in place to impose a levy pertaining to all sand and gravel businesses operating in the County.  All Operators within Thorhild County shall report all shipments of aggregate in tonnes from any pit within the boundaries of the County on a quarterly basis using the Aggregate Quarterly Report form.
